about diana

After graduating from Bates College, Diana followed her passion to be immersed in nature and worked as a naturalist for several years in Washington and Minnesota teaching and leading programs  for adults and children.  Her natural abilities as a leader and teacher led her to pursue Waldorf education where she trained in New York and England and then taught in schools both on the west and east coasts.

Her teaching expanded further into the realms of outdoor fitness education and yoga with a move to Boston in her early thirties where she then took on running kayaking and skiing programs for the greater Boston community and furthering her studies as a yoga teacher. She studied Vinyasa Flow, Kripalu, and Power yoga with a host of teachers including Shiva Rea, Sean Corne, and Rodney Yee.

Her teaching and practice has transformed over the years to an integrated vinyasa flow.  Diana also teaches the meditative practice of Yin Yoga with a foundation from the teachings of Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers, and Bernie Clark.  Diana's passion is to create the space for people to experience the vitality, beauty, and freedom of their minds and bodies in the yoga practice, in the transformative coaching work, and in their deep connection to their own center as well as to nature.

Diana is grateful for all of her teachers who have shared their wisdom and expertise, to her students who continue to inspire and inform with their passion and courage, and to the beauty and complexity of life. She lives in Wellesley MA where she teaches classes, workshops, teacher trainings, and retreats both locally and abroad.

Every tree,

every

growing thing

as it grows

says this truth: You harvest

what you sow.  With life

as

short

as a half taken breath,

don’t plant anything

but love......
